Quote of the Day

“If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties”.

- Francis Bacon 1561-1626, English philosopher -

Theo giải thích của https://simple.wikiquote.org/, thì câu trích này được hiểu đơn giản là “If you begin with being sure about things then finally you will be doubtful about things. But if you begin instead with doubts about things then finally you may be sure about things.”

“Many people are stuck on the fact they know everything, they are “certain” of many things that just are not true. If they feel they know it all, they have boxed themselves from learning more. A person of wisdom, may be very knowledgeable, but knows how much more there is to learn about all things. Nothing is set in stone.”

Nothing is set in stone.”
